Review: The Reversal

I could make this the shortest review ever. Michael Haller for the Prosecution. If you follow the Mickey Haller and/or Harry Bosch books, by Michael Connelly, you know that Mickey is a prime defense attorney. Here, Mickey takes on a case as an independent prosecutor. It’s a 24-year old case where DNA results releases a convicted child killer back into the community. No one in law enforcement believes that he was innocent, and they need and want Mickey to try the case. Maggie McFierce, Mickey’s ex-wife is his second, and Harry Bosch is his investigator.

I am more of a fan of Mickey Haller than Harry Bosch, but they are great together in any book. (My favorite section of Nine Dragons, a Harry Bosch book, is when he calls Mickey in to help him deal with Chinese police.) The Reversal is tense and intense, and it keeps you reading with great interest. It is also a great listen!
