Review: Assault with a Deadly Glue Gun

Imagine being the craft editor at a magazine and a hated fashion editor is killed with your glue gun and left in your cubicle! And you really, really didn’t kill her. The list of suspects (everyone else at the magazine and a variety of others in the fashion industry) is very long, and Anastasia has to work to clear her name. Add in two sons, a oft-married (and oft-widowed) mother, a Communist (literally) mother-in-law, a dead husband who spent every dime gambling and then dropped dead at the tables in Vegas, a new gorgeous tenant for the apartment over the garage, and a mobster trying to
collect money that hubby was supposed to have and didn’t – anymore, and you have a fun gentle mystery read.

I am not a crafty person any more. I hope it is the lack of time rather than inability. However, Assault with a Deadly Glue Gun by Lois Winston contains several craft items with directions, so if you are into crafts, you have an extra incentive to read this book.
